Alvin ISD

Alvin ISD has educated children in southeast Texas since 1881. From its beginnings in a one-room schoolhouse, the school district now encompasses 250 square miles and consists of three primary schools (Pre-K through 3), seven elementary schools, three junior high schools, and one high school. Named an exemplary school district by the Texas Education Agency, the mission of Alvin ISD is to provide an exemplary educational program that ensures all students' mastery of concepts and skills necessary for a meaningful and productive life.
